Destination Smokehouse began as a small family coffee shop in May 2016, when the Yepremian family opened their doors in Hemet, California.

In January 2019, their son Nicholas stepped in and expanded the menu, slowly transforming the shop into a full restaurant.

When the pandemic hit in March 2020, the team had to rethink everything. They paused operations for four weeks and returned with a simplified BBQ menu. The very first day was a hit — guests loved it — and that success sparked a new direction. Over time, the coffee favorites returned, but the BBQ stayed at the heart of it all.

What started as Destination Coffee Bar & Bistro evolved into Destination Smokehouse, a Texas‑inspired BBQ restaurant built on family, flavor, and community. Today, Destination Smokehouse welcomes guests from all over, earning a loyal following through handcrafted food and genuine hospitality.
