In May 2016, the Yepremian coffee shop opened in Hemet, California. Their son, Nicholas, took over in January 2019 and expanded the menu to include more food, transforming it into a restaurant.

In January 2020, Walter Johnson, a chef, introduced himself to Patricia Yepremian. Nick recognized Walter’s potential and invited him to join the restaurant.

The pandemic hit in March 2020, and the business closed for four weeks. Walter suggested starting a BBQ event to simplify operations. The first day was successful, and they decided to continue, gradually adding back the coffee menu.

Over the next two years, Destination Coffee Bar evolved into Destination Smokehouse, becoming a Texas-inspired BBQ restaurant. The restaurant has gained a loyal following and attracts people from all over the world. Their goal is to create an exceptional dining experience and foster a sense of community. Our goal is to make every visit better than the last.
